Liturgy and Music Saint James offers worship according to the finest liturgical traditions of the Anglican Communion, using contemporary liturgy in a flexible worship space, which makes the most of the flow of the church's year. Liturgical sources include the Book of Common Prayer, supplemental liturgical materials and other materials from throughout the worldwide communion. We strive to use our best resource to worship God and touch the human heart.
The chancel features a ten rank French style organ, built in 1980 and installed in 1995. In addition, piano, electric piano and rhythm instruments are used to augment our musical expression. We have a wonderful Music Director. An 18 voice adult choir and a youth choir assist in musical leadership of our community. In 2002, Lyn is planning to start a Cherub Choir for our youngest musicians.

SpirituaL Journey We encourage an individual's spiritual journey by inviting people to join in asking the questions that lead to holiness. Faith cannot truly exist without doubt and we encourage people to open themselves to the possibility of God in a community of faith on a journey. In addition to Sunday worship, we offer: The Daily Office, confession (by appointment), Community Retreats, Daughters of the King, Annual days of Reflection and Growth, and a Warm & Welcoming Community.

Christian Formation A preschool nursery operates during the principal Sunday Mass (9:30am). The Nursery staff is assisted by parents in a program the uses music, crafts, storytelling, exercise, and other methods in order to prepare young children to participate in the Breaking of Bread.
Using every area of available space, we offer educational opportunities for the growing Christians of our community. With over 84 children enrolled in the Christian formation program, St. James offers a safe haven for spiritual growth.
Teenage development and Confirmation preparation is centered in the highly successful "Journey to Adulthood" program. The three 2-year units of the program will enable young adults to confront the difficulties of contemporary living.
Periodic speakers on Sunday and a series of short adult programs are held during the course of the year to help all people of God to continue in their growth of faith. At the center of our program of faith development are a series of intergenerational fellowship and educational opportunities spaced throughout the year.
