Welcome to my home page. I will be using this web site to talk about my philosophy of guitar construction, discuss repair and instrument setup, and to provide a gallery with some of my instruments.

I specialize in acoustic guitars and have been repairing instruments since 1979 and building guitars since 1990. I come from three generations of professional cabinet makers and I grew up in a woodworking shop. If you are interested in guitar building I recommend books such as Cumpiano and Natelson's "Guitar Making Tradition and Technology", vocational courses (contact Acoustic Guitar magazine), and practical experience. I work alone, building one to two instruments at a time with perfection rather than production being my goal, so unfortunately I cannot entertain requests for apprenticeships or jobs.
