Samhaingrm's Music Stuff

The newest Danzig, Danzig 6:66 Satan's Child, is out, and it is SO much better than the last effort at an album.  This album rocks.  It is heavy, hard, knock you on your a$$.  It has a little bit of the techno stuff, but not enough to drudge down the guitars and vocals that for years were a staple of a Danzig album.  Yet it's not the same old stuff.  No Danzig album ever is. I read that Glenn wanted to get a mix of all the ideas of the first five into this one.  Well, in my opinion he has more than exceeded his own expectations, and come out with one of the best Danzig releases yet.

I can't play instruments worth a, well, you know, censorship (Big Brother) prevents me from writing the words I REALLY feel, so we'll just say worth a poop. Well, I can play my OWN instrument, but that's a DIFFERENT web page. Anyway, I love music. I love the crunch of a heavily distorted guiitar, and the driving grinding beat behind some of the slower but heavier music. Mercyful Fate, for example. It justs gets the blood flowing. Music is wonderful. Of course, my wife doesn't like about 98% of the stuff I like, but hey, who wants to listen to country anyways? With all their beer drinking and truck songs and singing about dogs. Sheez.
