Our Mission

The Martial Arts we love

I have been teaching full time in the UK since 1979. I believe that nothing is more precious than good health. Practicing martial arts is the best way to keep healthy and help create a peaceful and harmonious society.

I believe the the high profile of competition Wushu can help the promotion of traditional martial arts training.

In its?0 years competitive history Wushu, although developed from traditional Wushu, has almost evolved into an art form in it’s own right.

In order to do well in competition Wushu additional knowledge of the training methods and its?special requirement are necessary.

I began judging for European Wushu Championship in 1992. I have been Head Judge since 1998. The Euripean Championship has 28 member countries. . To date our team has achieved? 3 gold, 5 silver and 8 bronze medals in this event. The World Wushu Championships has 113 member countries and we have achieved 5th place in this competition

The 2008 Olympics will be held in Beijing, China and presents an opportunity for the youth of our country to strive for sporting excellence.

In order to prepare a British team that is strong enough to compete, I hope to be able to recruit talent from the students of the University of Southampton.
