Driving while impaired by alcohol or other drugs remains a major killer in the City of
Santa Fe and Santa Fe County, New Mexico. It remains a major cause of injury and
disability here, with on average over four alcohol-related injuries each week involving
DWI.
The mission of the Santa Fe Mothers Against Drunk Driving Community Action Team is to prevent DWI death and injury and to assist victims of DWI. We do this by encouraging effective court handling of DWI, promoting good policy-making against DWI by government and the community, and by providing services to victims.
