Savannah cats and kittens , brought to you by Callmac cattery where only the best Savannah cats are bred. "Sam" Shirley Finley, breeds Savannah cats, Bengals and American Bobtails and has been breeding fine animals for 45 years. When I first met Sam she had an Egyptian Mau who previously lived with a Rhino in the New Delhi zoo . Always with an eye to the exotic, Sam  now specializes in Savannah  cats and raises the kittens under foot at her home in California.

'Savanna' pictured above in the house. Savanna is quite a large cat and is about as close as you are going to get to the wild Serval, in a house cat (she is 50% Serval and 50% Bengal)

Where do they come from

The Savannah cat is an extremely rare cat with numbers ranging in the low hundreds world wide. The Savannah is an exotic  hybrid which has been bred in domestic breeding programs originating from the wild Serval cat of Africa
