Save the Bay is a not for profit grass roots environmental group based out of Keansburg, New Jersey. Formed in 1996 to fight the Army Corps of Engineers plan to build a containment island in Raritan Bay, Save the Bay continues to be the watchdog for Raritan Bay. Working closely with the Natural Resource Protective Association, the NY/NJ Baykeeper and Clean Ocean Action, Save the Bay monitors the permits issued by the Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE) to make sure that the environmental quality of our Bay is not compromised.
