At First...

| When I got the car it was in good running condition. Engine warm, it started right up. For the short test spin I took, it rode rather well. It had a surprisingly comfortable and smooth ride. I really wanted a "beach car" because in Daytona you can drive right on the beach, unless its dark and they're protecting some baby sea turtles.
Regretfully, I can't find any pix when I first bought the car. This is one as it hit the body shop. That's right, after a few months of enjoyment driving this thing, I decided to bring this car back to its youth. The two tone paint (not original) didn't quite cut it. The body was very straight. It would take a coat of paint well. For the first few months driving, I had thoughts of wearing a brown paper sack over my head.
