I started riding horses as a child in Kentucky and have not been able to quit. For many years, I competed in Combined Training, where I found my niche in life. I rode as a Young Rider for Area VII and participated on teams which travelled to the Founder's Cup Championships and the North American Young Rider Championships. I was a member of the Area VII team in 1993that won the gold medal at the Founder's Cup Championships and was also the individual gold medalist at the Fritz Cup of the same year.

After passing my 21st birthday, I continued to stay involved in the Young Rider program for Area VII. I participated as Chef d'Equipe for teams that travelled to championships during 1994 and 1995

I am now a trainer and instructor in Fort Collins, CO currently taking students and horses for training.
