The students and / or departments have the opportunity to utilize this P.O.S.T. reimbursable (plan IV) technical training course offered through the San Francisco Police Department Academy's outside training program. The class is a two-day (8 hours each day) course with a $150. per student (non -P.O.S.T. reimbursable) tuition / materials fee.Because of boarding fees and travel time, and due to trailering the horses, it is more cost effective and safer if I travel to the requesting agency to teach my course rather than the class (students / mounts) coming to San Francisco. The hosting agency will be responsible for the arrangements and cost of the course facilities (classroom and riding arena - stalls / board), equipment and supplies. In addition, liability insurance will also be the responsibility of the sponsoring department.Program costs for this course instructed outside of the State of California will be set on an individual basis.
