This is my old car, a 1963 Plymouth. The car began life as a Michigan State Police Highway pursuit car. I dragged it out of a field in Sterling Heights, Michigan back in 1976. It was still State Police blue, but the previous owner's sister had used the car for graduation, and had painted white footprints all over it, presumably with house paint. This photo was taken around 1983, after I had completed my very first self- inflicted paint job.

The hood is an original aluminum piece from a '64 car. The scoop is fiberglass. The front bumper is an aluminum part that I built by hand from .063" stock!
