Who We Are

The North Coast Area AIDS Education and Training Center (NCAAETC) was established in September, 1989. Its purpose is to provide AIDS education and training to physicians, nurses, dentists, mental health counselors and other allied health professionals of the HIV care team.

Our expert faculty consists of individuals with extensive experience working with people who are infected with HIV or at risk of being infected. They receive regular training and information on the most recent innovations in HIV treatment from the Pacific Aids Education and Training Center, a program of the Health Resources and Services Administration and the University of California at San Francisco.

Our Goal

The goal of the North Coast Area AIDS ETC is to improve the access and quality of care for HIV infected individuals by training health care providers in Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino, Lake, Humboldt and Del Norte counties.
