Admission

We accept students based on the results of standardized testing and work performance. Schola Maxima values cultural diversity and does not discriminate based on race, color, national or ethnic origin. We invite you to come by and observe our school.

Enrollment Policies

Students may be enrolled in Schola Maxima Day School providing:

1. The student is ready for the grade desired. This is determined by pretesting, observation and parent conference.
   
2. Parents understand and want the type of education we offer. Parents are asked to observe the school in session if application is made during the school year.
   
3. The school staff feels your child will benefit from our program. The expectations concerning academic achievement are above average so as to develop each child's potential within the program.
   
4. The school has an opening in the grade desired. Classrooms are limited to 15 students.
   
5. First graders are 6 years old by January 1 of the school year.
   
6. Fees are paid at the time of acceptance.
   
7. The immunization certificate required by the State of Alabama is provided on or before the first day of school.

Admission Fees

Students making application for enrollment must be tested. A testing fee of $200.00 is charged for first-time enrollees. This fee is applied to the registration fee ($100.00) and to the first semester book fee ($150.00) for those accepted. It is a non-refundable charge. The first tuition payment of $425.00 is due at the time of acceptance.

Tuition

Tuition for the school year is divided into 10 payments of $425.00 each. Tuition for parents enrolling more than one student is reduced to 10 payments of $375.00 for additional students from the same family. Discounts are also available for pre-payment.
