The Video Computer Store is taking orders for systems that they cannot fill in any reasonable time frame. DO NOT ORDER A COMPUTER FROM THEM! We ordered a system that they advertised on TV on Dec. 13th 1999 and are still waiting as of mid March. We were also told that our charge card would not be charged until the system was ready to be shipped. DON'T BELIEVE IT! Our charge card was charged on Dec. 17th and as I said, we are still waiting. Meanwhile, they've had our money interest free for 3 months and we have noting to show for it.
Worst of all, you wait on hold for 20 minutes at a time to talk to a customer service person who can not help you. When you ask to speak to a manager they tell you that the managers are all busy however a manager will call you back....but guess what .... they never do. This "store" is a nightmare! I repeat, DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM!
I've written a letter of complaint to the NY State Attorney General, but you know how fast the government works. You can see how frustrated we are if I've had to resort to creating this web site.
