DeMolay is the premiere youth organiztion for young men. There has been over 1 million men who have been DeMolays. Many major leaders in their professions. They range from Actors to Industrialist, Media Personages to Sport Icons and Politicians to Religious Leaders. Men of the caliber of Walter Cronkite, Dan Rather, Paul Harvey, Walt Disney, John Wayne, Fran Tarkenton, Harmon Kilabrew, Pete Rose, Brett Farbre, Hon Carl Albert, Hon. James Wright, Hon. Henry "Scoop" Jackson and many many more who learned their leadership skills in DeMolay.
DeMolay is a family organization and is a part of the Family of Freemasonry. It is an international organizations with Chapters in all the States of the USA, Canada, New Zealand, Germany, Japan, Brazil, Educador, Australlia, and the Philipines.
Claremont Chapter is one of the many Chapters of DeMolay in the USA and is part of the Southern California Jurisdiction of the Order of DeMolay. Our goal is to make "Good boys, better men" The members of DeMolay plan their own events and activities under the guidance of trained adult advisors called "Dads"
A lifetime membership is only $55 and is worth a wealth of learning and enjoyment. Claremont Chapter is now taking applications. To be DeMolay you must be 12 years old, a boy and have a belief in Supreme Being. DeMolay basis it teaching on seven basic principals of life. We call them precepts: Love of Parents, Love of God, Courtesy to all, Comradship among Brothers, Fidelity to your words and beliefs, Cleanness of mind and spirit, and Patriotism to your Country.
