HERE IT IS IN A NUTSHELL:

        WE WANT A DEFIBRILLATOR AT ANY PUBLIC EVENT WHICH:

            1) CHARGES ADMISSION,

            2) EXPECTS ATTENDANCE TO BE GREATER THAN 8,000

NOT MUCH TO EXPECT IS IT?

AUTOMATIC DEFIBRILLATORS HAVE BEEN AROUND FOR A LONG TIME.  THEY ARE SIMPLE TO USE AND THEY HAVE PROVEN TO BE EFFECTIVE  IN  SAVING  LIVES !!!

THE AVERAGE COST OF AUTOMATIC DEFIBRILLATOR IS ONLY  $2000.00

IF AN EVENT HAS:    

8,000 = 25 CENTS ADDITIONAL PER TICKET
15,000= 13 CENTS ADDITIONAL PER TICKET
20,000= 10 CENTS ADDITIONAL PER TICKET

            AND THAT IS JUST FOR THE FIRST EVENT! AFTER THAT, THE DEFIB IS PAID FOR!!!!

MANY PUBLIC PLACES & BUSINESS ALREADY HAVE DEFIBRILLATORS STRATEGICALLY LOCATED. 

WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE?

WRITE  TO YOUR STATE REPRESENTATIVE & STATE SENATOR !  (DON'T KNOW WHO THEY ARE? CLICK HERE)  (HAND WRITTEN LETTERS ARE A LOT MORE EFFECTIVE THAN FORM LETTERS & PETITIONS)

   ASK THAT HE OR SHE SPONSOR LEGISLATION FOR DEFIBRILLATORS (Chuck's Law) . ASK THAT THE RESPOND TO YOU AS TO HIS OR HER POSITION ON SUCH LEGISLATION. (THEN LET US KNOW WHAT THEY SAY.) What do you say in your letter? That you would like #1 & #2 above, that it will not add any taxes, that it will save lives, etc.     Keep it simple.

   ASK YOUR NEIGHBORS, YOUR DOCTOR, ANY ONE WHO CARES, TO CONTACT THEIR STATE REP & SENATOR.

THAT'S IT FOR NOW. WE'LL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL AFTER THE ELECTION ON NOV. 2 TO START THE 2ND STAGE.
