"Realize your dream of flying with
the ultimate flying wing". That is the message of this award winning
program from Paul Hamilton and Adventure Productions. It was created to
introduce you to flying like a bird in an ultralight weight-shift trike or
sometimes called a powered hang glider. With modern technologies and enhanced
training techniques learning to fly an ultralight weight-shift trike is easier
than ever before.
Filmed at the Arlington Air Show in Washington State, Monument Valley and
Hawaii, "Starting Triking, Freedom to Fly Ultralight Powered Hang
Gliders", covers a first scenic lesson experience and moves through a
couple of flights to ultimately, expert pilots demonstrating advanced
techniques, all with spectacular in-air footage and great soundtrack.
"The DVD can be used by anyone to present a positive image of ultralight
flying, today", says Paul Hamilton. "Schools can use it to recruit
more students and incorporate it into their lesson package. The video helps
instructors save time in the overall training process and make students more
effective learning to fly."
Triking has evolved into a new and exciting form of aviation. Trike design
allows for a more direct connection to the flying wing. This provides a
heightened sensation of "feeling the wing" which enhances the
exhilaration of the freedom while flying.
The final message, "The time is right, the time is now, start triking,
Today!" will inspire anyone who has ever dreamed of flying free, to sign up
for lessons today.
Program covers:
First lessons
Tandem instruction high in the skies
Spectacular in-air footage
Great soundtrack
Realize your dream, Today!

"Get Smarter Each Time You
Fly!" TM
A much needed instructional DVD on pilot weather and meteorology. Flight
Instructor, Paul Hamilton, takes you through a simple 5-step system specific to
Sport Pilots flying weight-shift trikes, powered parachutes, fixed wing
ultralight and light sport aircraft to show where to acquire weather data and
how to interpret it.
The "Weather To Fly" system takes pilot capabilities plus aircraft
limitations and weights them against the weather in the ultimate decision of
"whether to fly".
Flight instructor, Paul Hamilton, takes you through a simple step-by-step
process that is easy to follow. You will learn about regional and local
influences on weather in a straight-forward presentation.
You will be able to forecast local conditions yourself and interpret weather
information accurately to develop a clear mental picture of the conditions that
may affect your flight.
Time lapsed cinematography of cloud formations, in-air footage, and animation is
used to simplify complex weather concepts, as well as, illustrate consequences
of pilot judgement.
After a brief introduction, you begin with "The Global Energy Engine - How
the weather starts". This gives a global view of the hot and cold air
masses, air currents, and weather patterns. This provides the basis for the
"Big Picture" of weather and lays the foundation for your
understanding of weather.
Then you move to the "Weather To Fly" system. The 5 step process
guides you in select appropriate weather conditions for safer and more enjoyable
flights.
Step One is "Information Resources Preparation". You learn where to
get the best weather information. The internet site www.WeatherToFly.com is one
of the great weather resources covered.
In Step Two, "Observing your Local Weather", you learn how to observe
conditions at your local site. The section on clouds, terrain, and wind provide
the tools. Typical local characteristics for mountains, deserts, marine, and
other types of terrain are discussed. The Sport Pilot 1-800 WX-Brief is also
covered.
In Step Three, "Whether to Fly?", you learn how important it is to
compare your aircraft limitations and pilot capabilities to the weather
conditions. Physical condition, mental attitude, as well as, the pressure to fly
from family, friends, and ourselves are discussed.
Step Four, "The Flight", takes you through flight planning and
pre-flight with the emphasis on weather considerations. You'll get some great
tips on using your instruments, including your GPS, to measure horizontal wind
and vertical air currents. Safety issues relating to weather are discussed.
Finally, Step Five, "The Analysis" is where you compare your flight to
the predictions you made prior to your flight. Here is where you learn how to
develop your understanding of the air you choose to fly in. Making note of your
observations and any trends or patterns for future reference helps you "get
smarter each time you fly".

Producer Comments
This program is packed with useful details with a comprehensive view of the
basics and practical applications that you can use immediately. Expert pilots
will be able to follow all points in their first viewing, while newer pilots may
view it a number of times to full grasp all of the concepts. Our goal was to
make this program beneficial for new, as well as, experienced pilots.
"Weather To Fly For Sport Pilots" is patterned after the original and
highly successful "Weather To Fly - Basic Concepts for Flight with Dixon
White", which has become the industry standard for ultralight and soaring
pilots. Dixon White of Dixon's Airplay Paragliding School located in Arizona and
Washington State, as well as, Dennis Pagen, Author of "Understanding the
Sky - A Sport Pilots Guide to Flying Conditions" were consultants on this
project.
Using the principles presented in Weather To Fly, you can make better decisions
about "whether to fly". Track your flight history and educating
yourself for future flights by having an easy reference to past conditions and
the quality of the flight you had. See trends that you might not have seen if
you hadn't had documentation. Try to "get smarter each time you fly".

Customer Comments
"Just dropping u a line to to let
u know that I received my DVD today!! (fast ay??) :) It's GREAT!!!! Thanks very
much! it's the nicest, most informative footage I could have expected. Im really
keen on starting triking and this DVD was exactly what I needed! I've recently
had an intro flight (3 weeks ago) and this DVD just brought it all right back to
life!!
I'm really happy with my DVD and can't get enough of watching it!
It's helping me to grasp concepts I was completely clueless on, such as flight
patterns, terminology, the fundamentals of trike flight, safety and the
structure of the flight training. Apart from the great educational and technical
value of the footage, its absolutely fantastic to just be able to see trikes
fly! Seeing the remaining selection of DVD's still available on your site, I am
really looking forward to next one!
Thanks again and keep up the great
work!" - Jorge, New Zealand

Great for parties!
Monumental Triking,
Powered Hang Gliding in Monument Valley
Paul Hamilton of Adventure Productions has produce a visual experience of
amazing flights enhanced by the spirit of Native Indian legends, in the award
winning video, "Monumental Triking, Ultralight Powered Hang Gliding in
Monument Valley". "Viewing this sacred land from the air like a bird
to capture spectacular images of ultralight flying in one of the most amazing
places on this earth, was a thrill," says Paul Hamilton. "With a great
soundtrack inspired by Native Indian legends and positive images of flying
technique, I want to entertain and inspire pilots."
Filmed mostly in Monument Valley, on the border of Arizona and Utah in the USA,
it features the most scenic and unique views anyone has ever seen of Monument
Valley. Hot dogging down the highway at high speeds for a side trip to Lake
Powell, with a brief excursion to Hawaii (home to Gerry Charlebois) is thrown in
for good measure.
While filming the "Starting Triking" video, Paul got a phone call from
Hang Gliding friend, Gerry Charlebois, with an invitation to join him and
student pilot, Andy Doughty, for a week of trike flying in Monument Valley.
"I have been waiting to film with Gerry for years, so of course the answer
was, Yes", said Paul, "Gerry knows how to set up great angles for
filming and is an awesome pilot." Gerry Charlebois runs the very successful
"Birds in Paradise" school in Hawaii, providing scenic discovery
lessons. Gerry is also a highly acclaimed photographer, shooting more cover
shots and photos for ultralight aviation magazines than anyone in the world and
a stunt man for major TV and movie production companies. Gerry transformed
student pilot, Andy Doughty, from a general aviation pilot to an accomplished
trike pilot, who "flew like a bird" during filming.
