  • My script SHE DIED TWICE, co-written with Doug Huebner, is under option by Tule River Films . It's in "active development," as they say. Which means it's going through an agonizing process of crawling toward production ... but lately there has actually been some forward movement! The German director Charlie Stadler, who just made his first feature film, DEAD FISH, starring Gary Oldman and Robert Carlyle, has signed to direct and, based on his input, a new draft of the script written. Now they're looking for "A list" actresses to star. The producers want to shoot the film this spring, so cross your fingers and stay tuned for more details.

  • I've written 2 episodes of a soon-to-be-distributed syndicated animation series, ADVENTURERS: MASTERS OF TIME. This was my first foray into animation and I found it both more challenging and fun than I had anticipated. Production was recently completed on the series and as soon as I know its American air dates I will post them here. Until then, look at the trailer here. • The independent film I wrote and directed, CHARMING BILLY, was the cover article in an issue of MICRO-FILM magazine. Editor Jason Pankoke wrote a great in-depth article about all the agony and ecstasy of writing, making, finishing and releasing this award-winning film. You can find more information about the magazine at the following site. Just scroll down the page a little bit to find the CHARMING BILLY issue. I hope to have permission to post the article online soon and will provide a link to it when I do.

  • I'm featured in an article in recent edition of SCREENWRITER Magazine entitled, "The Point of Plot." The article discusses various aspects of script plotting, especially in the light of recent big successes of reality television and includes several comments and quotes from me. And hey -- I actually manage to make some good observations. I hope to have permission to post the article online soon and will provide a link to it when I do.

You can get more information about the magazine at its website.

And no, that's not me on the cover.

  • I'm also honored to be included in Warren Allen Smith's book CELEBRITIES IN HELL! Obviously Mr. Smith is a bit premature on both counts, but I hope to eventually make him a thoroughly honest man.
