Michael J Took Mike Took is a 38 year old Writer/Producer, who was born and lives in England. Having been crafting his writing skills since a very young age, in 2001 Mike co-wrote a screenplay entitled "The Power of Love" which was a semifinalist in the US Scriptapalooza screenwriting contest. He secured funding and produced a 9 minute trailer for the feature in 2002. Also around that time, but in a different collaboration, he wrote and co-produced the short film "Cull-de-Sac". In late 2002 he co-wrote another short film "Bang!" which was in pre-production for shooting late in 2003 but fell through at the last minute. He is also in development with his co-writer on a new feature script entitled "The Tower of Babel", and is mid-way through writing his first novel.
