CP/M PLUS & MALLARD BASIC

We still get lots of enquiries about CP/M Plus and Mallard Basic for the ZX Spectrum+3, originally published by Locomotive Software in the 1980s.

As a result we have issued a minimal re-released of the package which is not in the public domain and which comes in two flavours:-

On a quality (Japanese) 3" disc with operating licence and installation data sheet @ £9.95 + £2.00 post/packing.

As above but with the full Introduction & Reference manual (400+ pages) for Mallard Basic @ £19.95 + £4.00 post/packing.

We also have a couple of Amstrad Shareware 3" discs containing a variety of programs which should also run OK under CP/M+3:-

CP/M Utilities (file/disc managers, menu makers etc)

CP/M PD Games (various for CP/M and/or Mallard Basic)

These are available @ £5.00 each inclusive

We can also supply 3.5" CP/M startup discs for use with PCW Emulators although we do not recommend using LocoScript this way. The CP/M "Disc Image" Boot file with all utilities and Mallard BASIC for the Joyce emulator is available in downloadable form via email @ £14.95. This will enable almost all PCW CP/M programs to run on a PC.

The PC version of Mallard Basic is available from us as an MSDOS program which will run under Windows in a Disc (or CD)
only version with licence or with the full Introduction & Reference manual (see our online price list) . All the various versions of Mallard Basic
contain the very powerful Jetsam filing commands which made it so popular with programmers on the Amstrad PCW
and which is still being used (on PCs) today to run sophisticated commercial point-of-sale systems.
