A Loco PC from just £150!  
If your PCW is proving unreliable or you need a second PC ideal for running LocoScript then we have the answer. We can supply a high quality, LocoScript PC which includes a colour monitor, base unit with hard drive, 3½" FDD, keyboard and mouse (if applicable) and all cables with LocoScript PC (and LocoFile, Mail and Spell) preloaded. And we can even copy your PCW document discs across to the PC so you’ll be able to continue to use the familiar LocoScript word processor and have access to all your LocoScript PCW documents and Loco data files. Add a modern mono inkjet from just £69 for quick and high quality mono printing.

The Loco Easy PC @£150
The Loco Easy PC is our starter machine which comes with MSDOS and LocoScript PC Easy (which is like LocoScript 2 on a PCW)  installed on hard disc, so you can just switch on the PC and get straight to work. We can copy your 3" discs across to PC format 3½" discs so that you can read these in your new PC and work with your existing LocoScript 1, 2 and 3 documents*.  Add the move advanced LocoScript Professional 2/Plus (more like LocoScript 3/4)  @ just £19.95 extra. A simple DOS system menu (exclusive to Loco PCs) is included with easy selection of PC organiser software, disc formatting and copying utilities.  

The Loco Advanced PC @£269 offers the much more advanced LocoScript Professional 2/Plus preinstalled together with MS Windows 98SE or Millennium. The Loco Advanced PC is supplied with a mouse (which you don't have to use with LocoScript) and has a minimum specification of:- Pentium 2 processor, 128Mb Ram, USB slots, CD Rom Drive, Graphics Card, Sound Card, Network Card, Keyboard, Mouse and mat. Add just £30 for a modem and a preinstalled 0845 local rate dial-up connection to the internet - just plug the supplied modem cable into your telephone socket and you can go straight-on line, surf the world wide web, set-up your own free email account etc.  Or add your own Broadband modem for a super-fast connection (contact your ISP for details).

Please Note that Loco PCs are standard IBM compatibles which will run other MSDOS and/or Windows software as well as LocoScript PC (with LocoFile, Mail and Spell) which is preinstalled on the hard drive and ready for use. All LocoScript PCs are ex-corporate machines which are fully checked and configured prior to despatch and are covered by our full 90-day LocoCover Return-to-Base warranty (extendable). UK Courier Delivery is £39.95 and there is no VAT to add to our prices  Note. All offers subject to availability whilst stocks last. Loco PC Optional Extras list also available. Your Amstrad 3" data discs can be copied to across for use with the Loco PC for just £2.50 each. We will even copy up to 5 x Amstrad discs or supply you with CP/M Copier to read your Amstrad PCW 3½"  discs on a PC free of charge. * LocoScript 4 documents must be resaved as LocoScript 3 files - or you'll also need our special Loco4to3 software (Available FREE with Windows systems only).

Loco Laptops from £199-£269

The Loco Laptop is a very neat and compact (ex-corporate) portable computer about the size of an A4 pad and includes a quality keyboard with full-size keys, hi-res display and, at the rear, ports to connect peripherals such as a printer and mouse. Thus the concept of the PCW "all-in-one" unit is preserved. However, the machine takes up little desk space.

The Standard Loco Laptop @£199 includes the MSDOS operating system and LocoScript PC preinstalled. Just plug in the supplied power cable, switch on and LocoScript automatically loads from the hard drive ready for use. A 3½" floppy drive is supplied for the transfer and backup of files.

The Advanced Loco Laptop @£269 offers the Windows 98SE operating system together with a CD Rom drive. Add £30 for a 56K modem card+connecting cable for internet and email.

Inkjet Printers from £69-£99  As you know, LocoScript is an excellent word processor and as such deserves a top quality printer. We can offer a Hewlett Packard compatible mono inkjet from just £69 extra with free delivery if purchased at the same time as a Loco PC or Loco Laptop. It is quick, quiet and includes a range of fonts styles and a built-in sheet feeder. Delivery is free if ordered with a Loco PC.
