The LocoClub Support Scheme
If you love using LocoScript and/or it has become a vital part of your office organisation at home or in business then you should consider joining the LocoClub. This special scheme is dedicated to the future support of LocoScript and includes newsletters, information services, product discounts as well as on-going technical advice. Together with revenue from software sales and services, this also helps us to survive as a business in a Windows-dominated world.
Our members receive an information pack and many benefits including:-
- Continued technical advice on hardware and software matters. - We don't claim to have all the answers, but we'll help wherever we can. For detailed support, email or write to us. We aim to respond to email enquires from LocoClub members within 24 hours (Mon-Fri) and to letters from LocoClub members usually within a few days.
- For "Instant Support" we maintain a telephone helpline on 0906 294 7575 which is manned by experts with many years LocoScript experience. Calls are charged at 25p per minute and the line is open during normal office hours, usually 10am-5pm working days. This is half the rate of the old LocoScript helpline.
- Personalised service from genuine LocoScript users who won't give "Robotic" responses!
- We will also try to assist with general PC or PCW computer queries although our knowledge of third-party software, hardware and operating systems may be limited.
- LocoScript Newsletter (entirely produced and printed using LocoScript) featuring news, views, reviews, hints and tips (on MSDOS, CP/M, Mallard BASIC etc), lots about LocoScript, occasional special offers and more!

Compare our friendly, low-cost scheme to that of other software publishers who often charge £99+ per annum for what is normally a highly impersonal support service.
We regret that, as a business with costs to cover and staff to pay, we are unable to provide on-going free support to non-registered members or non-recent customers (e.g. after the original warranty period).
REPRINT SERVICE exclusive to LocoClub Members
Although our paper newsletter has only been produced since the LocoClub was formed in 1999 already there is a demand for reprints of articles from previous issues which may prove useful to the new members joining every month. As more issues are printed, so the list will grow longer. There is no charge for this service to club members. Simply tick the appropriate box(es) and send us a stamped, SAE envelope for us to return the information sheets in or request them via email.

Consultancy Service
Not all problems can be resolved by the support scheme. For example, we do not undertake to rewrite end user programs whether coded in LocoMail, Mallard Basic or other languages. You may need detailed help in using LocoScript's features for a particular and specialised purpose. Or you may require assistance with tailoring LocoMail or LocoFile to your application.
