Instead Senior Care provides the elderly with companionship and one-on-one
human contact to reduce isolation and improve their quality of life in the
comfort and familiar surroundings of their homes. We also provide help with
day-to-day chores including meal preparation,
light housework, shopping and errands.
Services
are performed by over 10,000 employees nationwide called CAREGiverssm.
Each one of these individuals is bonded, insured, covered by workers compensation
and has successfully passed a complete criminal background check. Their
training includes a specialized non-medical eldercare curriculum that
is exclusive to Home Instead Senior Care.
Services
can be arranged for a few hours a week or as many as 24 hours a day. Short
term respite relief or longer term care is available seven days a week,
including holidays.
While
Home Instead Senior Care cannot replace the love and support of an elderly

Employment
Opportunities
Home Instead CAREGiverssm work independently
and make a difference in the lives of the elderly each day. If you're fond
of the elderly and believe you would enjoy the satisfaction of helping them
remain living at home, you may be interested in becoming a CAREGiver.
We
offer flexible schedules, including days, evenings, overnight and weekend
hours. This rewarding part-time job allows you to practically name your
own schedule. And, you don't need to be medically licensed or certified.
Many
active seniors enjoy being a CAREGiver because they relate so well
to our elderly clients, often bonding through similar life experiences
and common maturity. No previous experience is necessary. Fondness for
the elderly is the main reason why so many choose to make a difference
as a CAREGiver
Home
Instead Senior Care's comprehensive training program helps ensure that
our CAREGivers are well equipped to handle the most common eldercare
situations and circumstances. And, a helpful office is always available
to help answer questions and lend support.
The
Role of a Caregiver
It's
often the little things in life the elderly miss and need the most. Home
Instead CAREGivers often become like a surrogate family member
to help meet their client's needs. Companionship and human interaction
are among the most important duties we provide. And, other non-medical
services we perform, such as light housework, cooking, laundry, shopping
and errands, also assist the elderly in remaining at home.
