At the Philippine Fiesta on Aug. 18-19, local stars will explode onstage with exuberant music and touch the hearts of Filipinos and Americans alike. Adding glamour, glitter and glitz to this cultural festival in Meadowlands Exposition Center, Secaucus, New Jersey, the event will reinforce the fact that Filipinos are truly a musical people; their charming music will delight the crowds and bring back memories of our homeland. These talents who are ready to serenade the audience are Ellen San Miguel, Grace Antonio, Marichu, Ellen San Miguel, Mitch Alvir, Maureen Javier, Kats Alvir, Ciennesse ,Jaymee, Paaralang Rondalla, Philippine Folk Arts Society and Folklorico. Another featured singer at the Philippine Fiesta is Jerome Gentolia. He is a powerful male vocalist who has sung in several musicals like "Laughing with the Dead", and "Revolution." He is currently the lead singer of the hard rock band "Walls of Jericho." Another singer to shine in the festival is Sheila Galon. She recently performed with the children of "Buchikik."
