I'm SFC Oril (Retired now for over 4 years), your Unofficial Army National Guard Information NCO for California.
As you can see, my grandson and I are enjoying my newest toy. I picked up this Jeep CJ5 from soldier on active duty. He wanted a new Harley and had to sell one of his favorite toys. It's lifted 4", big tires and Chevy powered. It hauls Butt!

If you are thinking of going to college in Southern California, have Prior Service or are just moving out west, then we would like to invite you to join one of our fine units. Our recruiting staff can also help you with your transfer from another state's National Guard or Reserve Unit.
The California Army National Guard offers:
Part-Time Jobs (One weekend a month and two weeks in the summer)
Money for College
Paid Training (Receive paid training at regular army bases)

..."Under the Military Selective Service Act, all young men (citizens and non-citizens) between ages 18 through 25 are required to register with Selective Service. Failure to register is a felony and subjects the offender to potential serious penalties and the loss of significant benefits such as: federal & many state and local jobs, student financial aid, federal job training programs, eligibility for US Citizenship, etc. Registration can be accomplished at any US Post Office or on the internet at http://www.sss.gov/ You can also verify registration on the SSS Homepage.......
