The club donates to the Lions Clubs International & Foundation for worldwide grants and projects and our local District 26 E1. Your contributions to the Kirkwood Lions Foundation (501 C3 IRS registered charity) travel around the world to help those in need by local Lions. People just like you who know where the aid is needed the most because they live there.
Since 1990, Lions have prevented vision loss and restored sight to 27 million people and improved eye care for more than 100 million people around the world. The SightFirst program controls and eliminates the leading causes of blindness and creates sustainable eye-health systems and training programs that will serve communities for years to come. On average, US$6 saves one person from blindness through Lions SightFirst program.
