  • No one named EDWARD in my entire line. (This excludes by marriage, and even then only 1).
  • Richard Fielding Cooke, one of my ancestors, was a State Senator in Tennessee, and the city of Cookevile was named for him.
  • Multiple ancestors came to the US through Lancaster co PA.
  • Ancestors have fought in WARs: Revolutionary, Civil, Spanish American, WWI, WWII and War of 1812
  • Ancestry is mainly Irish and Scottish.  Cherokee ancestor was probably back 4/5 generations, but is unconfirmed.
  • Pension of William Morgan was often claimed by his son (William D Morgan) before WM could get to the post office in town.
  • One MORGAN was said to have been adopted after he and his brothers were orphaned. William and Thomas Morgan
