WWA "All-Star Wrestling" from 1987 - 7/27/88 :

* Russel "Sap" Esquire & Carl (Styles) Kovac  vs  Rick McCord & Vinnie Valentino.

Esquire looks outragious! Within a year, if I recall correctly, Carl Styles would begin work in Portland. Anyways, The Warlord comes in and Bobby Jaggers runs the heels off with a chair.

* Brenda's Beauty Shop : with Carl Kovak, The Warlord, Russel Esquire and The Bossman.

Only in a promotion like WWA could this crap make the air. I have no idea who "The Bossman" is, because it's not Ray Traylor; unless he shrunk about a foot and suddenly became African American.

* Dave Peterson  vs  jobber.

* RIP Rogers  vs  Bulldog Bob Brown.

It is really too bad The Hustler couldn't get a better push than in Central States, Calgary and the Poffo's ICW. I thought he would've been great in the WWF; even if a short run. If I were one of the fans, I dont think I'd wanna see Brown wrestle, much less be behind him - like these fans.

* Bob Brown gets interviewed in mid ring.

The Bulldog is "still recovering" from being sprayed in the eyes by Rogers. So, while he's recovering, they air a 20 second clip of Bruiser Brody from WWC, then return to the ring. Within no time, Rogers jumps him with "green slime". I dont know what to say ...

* Mr. Pogo  vs  S.D. Jones; Central States title.

Let us not forget that karate is legal here, as if you cared. Hey, Jones is a champion to be proud of, right ? Pork Chop Cash does guest commentary, and if the wrestling doesn't kill you, the gibberish coming out of his mouth most certainly will. Too bad that old Memphis skit where Jimmy Hart announces the funeral didn't truly involve Pork Chop!

* Bob Geigal opens up the show.

Age gets the best of us, doesn't it ? Now I know why this promotion was so weird at this point, because Bob was pretty odd.

* Ken Timbs  vs  T.C. Carter.

Timbs should've just made a permanant residence is Mexico, as the Fabuloso Blondie gimmick brought the best out of him.

* S.D. Jones interview at the ringside table.

* Clip of Ken Timbs choking the hell out of S.D. Jones.

Good goin' Tim! By the way, I know you're thinking I'm a racist, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Alot of my favorites happen to be black. The fact is, Pork Chop and S.D. are quite embarassing.

* The Power Twins  vs  Chief Joe Lightfoot and Prince Tapu.

* Ken Timbs mid-ring interview.

* Masa Chono  vs  Mike George; Central States championship.

Rare, and a very good old style match.
