-How To Order- Interested in placing an order ? It's quite simple! 1. Initializing my order - Get a checklist together of the video tapes you're planning to buy. IMPORTANT : Preferably, I strongly recommend that your order be printed off via your computer's printer, as I just can't stress how many times I've had a customer include a note with their hand-written selections on a piece of paper, and me in turn not being able to read the penmanship. When this is the case, I have to be an irk and E-mail the person (or in some cases, have to send them a letter by snail-mail, which is even worst) and ask what it is they're wanting to purchase, thus delaying the order. Also, please do include your complete shipping address - be it at work or home, wherever you'd like to recieve your package - and E-mail address where I can contact you in the event of any chance problems or developments (if you haven't an E-mail address, it might be a good idea to include a phone number where I can reach you at - your anonymity is secure with me). 2. How should I go about paying you for my order - U.S. Postal Money Orders are preferred as payment for those ordering in the continental United States. For Canadian customers, please endorse with an "International Postal Money Order." These can be obtained, both in the U.S. and Canada, by simply paying visit to your local Post Office and asking one of the desk-clerks for a money order in the amount you're wishing to recieve. A postal money order, in this case, usually costs but $0.75 - $1.00. If you happen to live outside of the United States/Canada, please drop me a line concerning a route of endorsement. I've done business with folks from Japan to Australia, England to South Africa, and so on & so forth, and have never had problems. 3. Prices, shipping rates - All wrestling video tapes listed on this web site (Lus Lurid's Wrestling Video Tapes) - be it 4 hours, 6 hours, or 8 hours - are a respectable price of $12.00 apiece (unless otherwise notified), which I believe to be satisfactory. In the United States/Canada, I ask that the following rates be embraced to aid towards the shipping-cost fee of U.S. Priority Mail (this method ensures that your package will arrive in two or so days after mailing it) : 1 to 6 tapes - $3.00 ; 7 to 12 tapes - $6.00 ; 13 to 18 tapes - $12.00 ; 19 to 24 tapes - $15.00 ; 25 to 30 tapes - $24.00. So, as an example, if you'd like to order ten (10) wrestling tapes at $12.00 each, plus the $6.00 for shipping, your order's total would be $126.00 [$120 for the tapes, plus $6 shipping, equals $126 even]. If you plan on ordering over 30 wrestling video tapes, please get in touch with me (ShaunasL@aol.com). For our friends in Mexico, Japan, Europe, Australia, South Africa, and everywhere in between, you must initially notify me of exactly how many tapes you are buying, that way I can pay visit to my local post office and determine the precise sum of expenses it will cost to ship your order to you. Just as those here in the United States are treated to U.S. Priority Mail, everyone else outside is conferred under Global Priority Mail (in most cases that come to mind as I type this, Tokyo and the United Kingdom customers, for example, were only charged $10.00 - $15.00 for, say, 4 tapes, to cover Global Priority Mail, which is supposedly 3 - 4 days in arrival worldwide). And I find it only fair that if you plan on putting in an order of seven or more video tapes, I'll cut you a little slack and offer a discount (usually $5.00 or $10.00). 4. How long will it take for my tapes to arrive ? Depending on the quantity of your order, it usually takes me at least a week or so to get everything copied, boxed up, and shipped out. For fellow statesmen, expect [the] order's arrival within three weeks at most. For those ordering from other parts of the world, I'll usually attempt to get your order sent out within a week of recieving your payment (provided it's not a huge tape order!) - foreign orders are a gracious commitment to which I rush to allow you the speediest of service. I always urge foreign clients to give me an exact video tape list in their order via E-mail. That way I can begin working on your tapes in advance. 5. Why don't any tape lists show up when I click on the promotion's specified link ? The most distressing and heartbreaking aspect of this web site is that I physically don't have the bearings and poise to type up a complete checklist for every wrestling tape I own. I am working on the task, though. It's just a very long, drawn-out process to undertake. 6. So what then should I do in this case ? I do have a really enormous collection of everything imaginable in the way of pro wrestling tapes. No matter what, feel free to E-mail me anytime and ask for what you are in need or search of. And if I don't have it, trust that I'll be sure to point you in a direction that I think will be of help. 7. The LATEST ARRIVAL OF NEW TAPES - My noteworthy advice would be to treat this page as sort of the Holy Grail of this web site (I know that sounds narcissistic, but it's not meant in that way). I update it either weekly or biweekly; as soon as I have the latest selections available and catalogued. Plans made as of now are for this page to eventually become the distinguished stop at the web site, including checklists to every tape found at this page. To check out the fresh and recent arrivals, click here. Once there, click on each tape title's colored link for match listings (provided there is one). 8. What about trading; any footage you're looking for ? Due in part to ever-increasing health problems with my immune system, knees, arms, and continuous doctor visits to the University of Florida and Pain Management appointments, trading wrestling video tapes for "fun" has decreased drastically in more recent memory. I'm open to the concept, but unless we're talking about something tremendously rare that I can't live without, there's a slim chance you'll have success in getting ol' lazy bones motivated to get on the trading-train again. My main interest is in obtaining the following : * NWA/WCW complete television shows from 1989 - 1991 (TBS Power Hour, World Championship Wrestling, Main Event; and Pro Wrestling & World Wide Wrestling on syndication). * Still looking for more rare television footage of Eddie Mansfield's IWF (International Wrestling Federation) group based out of Orlando, Florida from 1991 - 1993. * GWF (Global Wrestling Federation) television out of the Dallas Sportatorium from the exact dates of July 1992 - July 1994. Finally found a good amount of the latter with the Ebony Experience (Booker T & Stevie Ray) and the Bad Breed (Ian & Axl Rotten) in their early, early days with Global on ESPN and ESPN 2, but I have yet to discover much footage of Moadib (Tony Norris, aka Ahmed Johnson) and Iceman Parsons. * Also on the lookout for Southern Championship Wrestling (Georgia, Joe Pedicino, c. 1988-1993); ICW & IWCCW (c. 1986-1994); South Atlantic Pro Wrestling (c. 1991-92); Atlantic Championship Wrestling (c. 1989-1990), and USWA/Memphis from May 1990 - December 1991. I'd like to also get some WWC (Carlos Colon) & IWA (Victor Quinones/WWF ties) television from Puerto Rico, too. Or any other weird indy federations, I'm always game :) 9. Video quality, recording equipment used - The video quality description concluding each video tape's checklist denotes as close as possible what your copy will appear like once you recieve it. As of December 1998, I've been using a DDV 9100 (Dual Deck Americhrome Circuitry)VCR; which means exact copies of the original footage (or so the manufacturer would have you believe). 10. How long have you been doing this ? This web site started up in May of 1997, which correlates with the time I first began trading with many of you on an underground level. I'm still amazed by how enormous this fun "hobby," for lack of a better word, has branched out in just the 3.5 years since. For many years during my teens (way back in the early - mid 90s), I had to depend on other distributers in order to obtain old, hard to find stuff, at insane amounts of money - and insanely awful quality, too. In just those erstwhile 42 months that I've had the delightful opportunity to trade pro wrestling video tapes with a great many of you, which clearly cuts back on the rediculous spendings of past, I have gone from a minuscule collection of maybe 500 wrestling video tapes to an astounding 4,000-plus ... and counting! So as an understanding fan, with no sense of apathetic prose in site such as many sorry dealers out there, I have sincerely tried to price these tapes as reasonable as possible, yet in an effort to rate in a sense that still enables me to make somewhat of a profit in the long run. Thank you, sincerely, for all the support. 11. Wrestling T-shirts - I have made custom wrestling T-shirts for myself, friends, and customers for some time now, and this offer is still available while supplies last. For more information, click here. And remember, I can only use white T-shirts (all other shades/colors will not work properly in showing the logo and/or art sufficiently). khttp://members.aol.com/luslurid/Ts.html 12. Ordering from Amazon.com - That's right, you can order items from Amazon.com directly through me. The more you order from Amazon.com using the search engine on my front page, the higher discounts I will give you on orders, or in some cases, I'll even give you a free video tape or two!
