I have a special fondness for the bass. I taught myself to play and gig on occasion doing jazz standards or covering for the Mazeltones. I bought a acoustic and learned to play it--but couldn't spend enough time to keep my hand strength up. My fantasy is to be 60-70 years old - playing bass on Wednesday nights in some bistro.
