THE SHERBORN LIBRARY
The Sherborn Library The Sherborn Library is one of the best of Sherborn's many fine assets. It provides many community services beyond routine library functions. It is boldly entering the information age and has automated many of its library and management functions. It has mediaone high speed internet access and is undergoing a software and hardware upgrade which will provide the capability for patrons to do many library functions, such as searching and ordering from their home or work via the internet. Its pleasant meeting and function rooms, informal atmosphere, and capable, helpful staff make the library a popular place to visit. The Library, naturally, has its own website. So to learn more about the library, its staff, and mission just follow the link to the Sherborn Library Home Page. Library director, Elizabeth Johnston, has written a number of informative articles about the library, library science, and the challenges ahead for libraries in the information age. These articles were published in the Dover-Sherborn TAB and are accessible via the Library Articles link.
