About The Artist

Michael Moore has been creating art using Apple Macintosh computers as his creative medium since 1987. Combining his computing and photographic skills and his sculpting experience, he has created a pseudo 3-D style that evokes visions of Rorschach and the Sixties. Best known in the world of Pop-Art for his work on KC & The Sunshine Band's 25th anniversary CD cover, Michael has also had his work published on the cover of Inner Self Magazine and he has also created art for Relix Magaizine. Despite Michael's vision impairment from CMV Retinitis and his condition as an AIDS Patient, he has overcome the many obstacles presented to him through a positive attitude and perseverance. ÊMr. Moore was named a 2001 grantee by the Pollock Krasner Foundation located in New York City and recieved a large grant to firther his artistic endeavors. In January of 2002, the artworld of Barcelona, Spain wae introduced to 5 large works by Mr. Moore as collaborator for the art in six of his works in this innovative fusion of cutting edge technology and sculpture. Having just completed a 10 year retrospective exhibition, Mr. Moore's colorful visions can currently be seen by appointment. Mr. Moore is currently preparing a new body of works delving deeper into abstract symbolism and ythe hero with a thousand faces. Working out of his studio at home and traveling for an occasional photo shoot, he is now concentrating on producing limited edition Giclee archival prints, Bronzes and other sculptures, and constantly seeking out shamanic wisdom.
