Albert Brooks is an underrated genius. Although considered one of the wittiest, most incisive performers in film today, he is still underappreciated. A perfect example of this being no web page dedicated to him- before now. If he worked as often as Woody Allen, perhaps he would be awarded more recognition. But I can give him my own little tribute...

Both films are now available on video and dvd, from Amazon.com!
Finding Nemo on DVD & Video
The In-Laws on DVD & Video
The Nemo soundtrack is also available. It features a score by Thomas Newman (Randy's cousin), and a cover of Bobby Darin's "Beyond the Sea" by Robbie Williams. You can order your copy of the Finding Nemo soundtrack here!

The film received wonderful reviews, and even made many critic's Top Ten of 2003 Lists. There's even talk of some Oscar nominations, including Best Picture! You can check out Roger Ebert's rave here:

Check out the official film site, FindingNemo.com! You can also check out the Finding Nemo Trailer.
If you live in New York or it's surrounding area, you've probably heard the Ron & Fez radio show on 102.7 WNEW, the smartest, most original, funniest show on the air right now. I've been privileged enough to be a guest on the show numerous times, as "Laura Brooks, Albert's niece" (wink, wink), and in turn Ron & Fez have been quite supportive of Albert and this site. Anyway, to make a long story short, with the WNEW format change, the guys now need your support to bring them back to the New York airwaves. If you'd like to join the effort, just write a letter to:
John Sykes CEO
Infinity Broadcasting
1515 Broadway
51st Floor

For more info, check out RonFez.net. If you're a fan of comedy, or even just of this site, I hope you'll take the time out to write.
Thanks so much, and now back to our regularly scheduled programming....
Albert on September 11th
Here's a short piece, that gives a bit of Albert's reaction to the events of September 11th.
Special thanks to Steve for the link, and check out Steve Bailey's Lost In America page, a tribute to Albert's film!
However... I have found an offshoot of Rhino, an idependent store called Rhino Westwood, which specializes in hard-to-find prints. They said they can get copies of the album for roughly $10 plus shipping & handling! So, if you've been looking for the album, check out their site, or write them at info@rhinowestwood.com.
If you read any interesting articles, or hear of appearances Albert is scheduled to make on a talk show, please drop me a line so I can post it here. (please be sure to mention Albert in the subject line, so your letter isn't mistaken for junk-mail!)
Please keep in mind that I have no actual contact with Albert Brooks- I'm just a fan. So, I won't be able to send him any scripts you think he'd be perfect for, etc. I know most of you have figured this out, but let me just say that it was necessary to spell it out for some people. Of course, if you have any projects you'd like my cousin Andrew to star in, feel free to let me know...
Keep checking back for more updates, and any upcoming television appearances!
Career Synopsis

Here is a brief synopsis of Albert's career- from his days as a stand-up comedian, to his album recordings, through his years on television, and all the way up to his films.
Mr. Zehme, who also wrote the wonderful Rolling Stone piece on Albert a few years back, is another "Albertphile" who wanted all of us to be able to enjoy the interview as it was intended.
I'm sure you all join me in thanking him for his generousity, and please head on over and check out the
Albert Brk: I actually have seen it. I think you've done a wonderful job. The only advice I'd give is "don't link to bad reviews!" The Chinese have an expression: Link only to the good! When I'm ready to put up my own web site, I'll need to take my name back.
Question: Mr. Brooks, it's an honor. I'm Laura, creator of the first (and only) web site dedicated to the genius that is...You. I was wondering if you've ever seen or heard about it? If you have any questions about your career, you should check it out.
Here are a few Albert Brooks Sounds in .wav format, including standup and film clips.
Here are some great links to a slew of Albert-related sites, including film reviews and tributes.
Also available for your listening pleasure is an interview that Albert did with NPR's Fresh Air back in '96, in RAM format.
Special thanks to Tom for the heads-up!
Albert Brooks Links
I have to give a big Thank You to Roger, without whom this section wouldn't be possible.
I've started a discussion list for the dedicated Albert fans on the net. We've got a nice group of about 100 people going, and if you would like to be included, just enter your e-mail address here:

This page was started on a whim, with a Basic Web Design book and no software. Please excuse its appearance, as it is constantly under construction and I'm learning as I go along. I'm open to any suggestions/contributions/additions!
This probably isn't of interest to anyone but me, but Another Kooky Krazy Page has reached a milestone- 60,000 HITS! I know it's not much compared to most other pages, but coming from such humble beginnings, I'm really happy that the page has become as successful as it has, and I'd like to thank everyone for their support, encouragement, suggestions, and most of all,
If you like this page, I hope you'll give it your vote!
