Studio in the Trees La Honda, CA Bringing Art and Nature Inside Imagine spending an art-filled day in a sun room studio facing Alpine Creek, bordered by the majestic redwoods of Sam McDonald Park. Nature and art bring us back to a creative source that is innate in all of us. Often it helps to find a nurturing environment and a supportive group that all work together as a stimulating tuning fork.

Satellite Studios Larger group classes are held in a variety of convenient, mid-peninsula locations which include: Portola Valley Presbyterian Church; Pacific Art League, Palo Alto; Little House, Menlo Park; and Filoli Center in Woodside, CA. Quarterly calendars will indicate specific class locations; a map sent with registration receipt.

Carla Brooke, M.A., Art Therapy, has taught specialized art classes for the last 14 years.

She has exhibited her silk paintings throughout California and is currently working with a range of fiber and sculptural art media. She finds teaching to be a rewarding art form that generates comaraderie and heightened creativity.

Carla has taught at Foothill College, the Cabrillo School District, Anderson Ranch and the Filoli Center.
