OAXACA was created with the vision to promote and
share traditions of the Hispanic, American, and
world cultures in the Bluegrass area, in order to
learn about our similarities, and to recognize,
accept and celebrate our differences. In a
welcoming Community Center settings, seminars,
demonstrations, workshops and exhibits are
offered to contribute to the awareness of our
wonderful diversity. We
specialize in a great variety of handcrafted
products that have a practical utilitarian
function as well as decorative aesthetic value
made by artists and artisans from the state of
Mexico. We [purchase the products directly from
the artisans, making it possible to offer
reasonable proces and most importantly, to
contribute directly to the economy of these
families in the communities of Oaxaca.
