     Tom Cowart, the latest of a long line of soldiers, went to high school in Malaysia, served as an enlisted man in the U.S. Army, tried to join a circus headed to South America (it went bankrupt the day he was to start), and served as Chief Counsel to the Clerk of the Texas Tenth Court of Appeals.  Cowart, by any standard, knows conflict.  This is his recommended reading lists of conflicts of war, politics and humanity.
