Feeding Habits
They are scavengers and will eat most anything they can fit into their mouths.
They find their food by smell and touch. You should feed them once
a day with as much food as they can consume in 15 minutes. Avoid
Overfeeding! Happy frogs will eat from their owner's hands after time. They
may nibble the fingers, but with no teeth they are completely harmless.
Diet
Brine shrimp, krill, shrimp pellets, and Tetra Reptomin sticks are some foods
they seem to like. Mine love to have a meal worm or wax worm on occasion.
You can also feed frozen blood worms, and frozen brine shrimp; however, I
take some tank water and add it to a cup with some frozen food before placing
the food in the tank. Some will eat feeder goldfish and nightcrawlers. I
have given mine this on occasion but not as an every day diet. I have found
information that says they like pieces of lean raw meat, insects, cat and
dog food, shrimp etc. I would caution feeding live foods for fear that you
could make your beloved frog ill. Buy from a reputable place!

Teta Reptomin is a great source of food for your african clawed frog!
