Welcome to the 6BC Botanical Garden Events page. Our 2007 season promises to be fun and scenic. So, stop by and have a look and listen! Once again, all readings and events will be held out-of-doors, so bring a jacket for the evening. All events are free and open to the public. Donations are, of course, welcome!

Location: The 6BC Botanical Garden, East 6th Street between Avenues B and C, New York City
Nearest subway: 6 at Astor Place, L at First Avenue, or F at Second Avenue


Here are the dates for the 2007 series so far:

Sunday, September 9 at 2 P.M.  Steven Cordova, Elisabeth Frost, Walter Holland, and Melissa Monroe read their poetry.

Wednesday, September 12 at 6:30
P.M.   Cypress Dubin-Snyder and friends are a trio, acoustic guitars and vocals, playing a combination of original and cover tunes—folk, soul, rock and roll.

P.M.   Abigail Child presents some of her recent films.
Abigail Child is a 2005 Artists’ Fellowship recipient of the New York Foundation for the Arts. This presentation is co-sponsored by Artists & Audiences Exchange, a public service program of the New York Foundation for the Arts.

Saturday, June 10 at 4
P.M.   Steven Cordova, Elisabeth Frost, Walter Holland, and Jean Kane read their poetry.
Rain date: Sunday, June 11 at 4 P.M.
