Hello and THANKS for dropping by. My name is Paul Seymour and this site contains several "pages" of poems written by me in the early 80's. At that time, I was in my twenties and, for my sins, working as an UNDERTAKER. A lot of my "spare time" was spent sitting around at crematoriums and cemeteries waiting for services to finish and so on and so, to fill the time, I started writing poems. I hope this helps explain the TITLE!
Nowadays (2000), I have little time for writing poems (although I still TRY from time to time) and spend most of my time "playing with computers" or getting drunk!
One day, I hope to put all the (hundreds) or poems together into a book and "let it loose" on the general public. If you LIKE (or DON'T like) any of the following poems, PLEASE feel free to drop me a line at PSeym@aol.com with your comments.
Please use the buttons below (you'll find them on every "page") to navigate your way around. Each poems is on a separate page and, wherever possible, is preceded by a brief description or comment to help you better understand what and why the poem was written. Please note that SOME of the poems are "slightly adult" in content but, bearing in mind the easy access available to a web site, I have deleted/masked out any words that may offend any younger viewers (though adults should be able to work it out OK!).
Thanks again for visiting. I'll be adding more poems as time goes by so please call back from time to time. PLEASE also feel free to send/leave comments/suggestions in my GUESTBOOK!
