Shannon's Doberman's
The following pages were created because I love my Doberman's
There are many misconceptions out there about the Doberman. That they are vicious or will turn on their owners. Any dog regardless of breed or size can be vicious and turn on their owners if they are brought up incorrectly or treated inhumane. That fact is also evident in the human race as well.
Before I owned my first Doberman I had never really been exposed to the breed ( I know how pathetic, 21 years!) I actually went to visit some fellow Dobie owners and got to see and spend time with their dogs and thought why have I waited so long.
Then the day came, February 20, 1992, and I brought home a 10 week old black/rust female, I named her Alexis. We soon became best buddies, I think it only took about 15 minutes. She was by my side from that minute on. The next Christmas I decided to expand my Doberman family and added Caesar, he came to me also at 10 weeks, a handsome red/rust male. He and Alexis hit it off almost right away, it took Alexis a couple of days to figure out that he wasn't leaving and she better get used to him being around. Today the are inseperatable and they are truly best friends, I have never had a bad moment between them.
Both Caesar and Alexis have their own page with photo's if you would like to see them. I have also added some informative and fun links regarding Dobermans, Hope you enjoy. Go To Alexis' & Caesar's Pages
