SkierCom IS NEW

SkierCom is a unique method of ski teaching devised by Jeff Elwyn, utilizing high quality two-way radios. All skiers are equipped with radio and speaker/mikes attached to their jacket collars (just like the police wear). The instructor has a radio with a voice activated head set and mike, permiting instruction be given anywhere regardless of the distances between skiers. SkierCom allows for constant communication on the slope, lift or lodge.

SkierCom IS EFFECTIVE

SkierCom permits the instructor to be in constant verbal contact with his skiers allowing corrections to be made while the skier is moving. SkierCom allows the skier to take remedial action immediately without having to stop for an evaluation. SkierCom permits the skier to be aware of an error or a correct movement the instant it occurs. The instructor is able to call attention to the focus of a demonstration at the exact time it occurs.

SkierCom IS FOR GROUPS

SkierCom works best with small groups of like skiers because of redundancy. With SkierCom all of the instructor's comments are always heard. Hearing the correction to the other skiers, noticing their mistakes, and seeing their improvement underscores and enhances your own progress. The intensity of this coaching is like having the results of 5 lessons in one. Even lift riding time is not wasted.

SkierCom IS MORE FUN

SkierCom keeps you moving, learning,and warm. With SkierCom there is never a need to stand around in a group. Other skiers won't even know that you are in a lesson. (Except that they may ask who's talking to you). SkierCom lessons provide for more skiing time. The only "still time" is for resting, while you observe the instructor or your fellow skiers. Jeff Elwyn
		Jeff Elwyn is a level three certified member of the PSIA (Professional Ski Instructors of America) and has been teaching skiing for more than 25 years. A former Ski Area Manager as well as Ski School Director, his unique teaching style has enabled hundreds of people to make that often difficult advance into the expert status.
Jeff skis moguls and powder with amazing fluidity and style, but more importantly he has the rare ability of being able to impart his knowledge to others. With his one-on-one teaching method, he is able to break down the mysteries of parallel and mogul skiing into simple, understandable components.
