Hello! and Welcome everyone to the Syro-Malabar HomePage. Many of us have been asked one question in this country, "Did you get converted to Christianity or was it your parents?" Hope this home-page will be an answer to that question. But more important than that, we have to realize how lucky we have been, to receive the faith from St. Thomas himself (shown at left), one of the twelve apostles of Christ. Have you ever wondered what we would be if St. Thomas had not come to India? We would be all believing in and worshipping non-existent pagan gods & goddesses. It is a great gift from God that we should cherish, especially at a time when any faith or no faith is O.K. and those who do not know Christ, do not care to know the Truth.

As you may know, the new Cathedral is almost nearing completion. Everyone who has pledged for the construction is requested to make the payment. Also, if you have not pledged anything, you are exhorted to do so,committing to whatever you can afford. The new cathedral will be ready for inauguration on July 5th. Your valuable suggestions and ideas are always welcome.
