Well it rained 5 days as the old Bessie Smith song goes. There we were playing out of the side of a bus in a muddy field. On or two hardy souls stood in the rain, but most took shelter in the pubs, emerging when the rain periodically stopped. Not that by the end there was much room in the field, for those who had arrived by car and parked at the back of the stage simply drove round the front and treated the whole thing as a drive-in event. Anyway, we enjoyed it and the hardy souls seemed to. Many thanks, folks.
