The Sons of Confederate Veterans are dedicated to preserving the history and legacy of the citizen soldiers who fought for the Confederacy. To this end we participate in fairs, festivals, living history events and reenactments, Memorial Day and Flag Day ceremonies.

We present books and other media to local libraries, participate in the Adopt-a Highway program, deliver fruit baskets to local rest homes at Christmas, Locate and clean neglected grave sites of Confederate Veterans and install gravestones to help remember them.
