University Chapter of the Peruvian American Medical Society (P.A.M.S.)


Announcements

The San Fernando Alumni Association held its last meeting in Cajamarca, Peru during the last PAMS Convention in July, 1999 and agreed to support the Cardiothoracic Surgical and Educational Program of Dr. Efrain Montesinos initiated and carried out at Hospital Dos de Mayo of Lima, Peru. Event Calendar

The next meeting of the Association will take place in Piura, Peru at the XXVII Annual Convention of PAMS. Elections of Officers will take place on that meeting.


General Information

a video tape of the Cardiothoracic Surgical Program of Dr. Efrain Montesinos is available for the members of the Association and it will be mailed soon, requesting donations both for the association and for the Surgical Program at "Hospital Dos de Mayo de Lima"


Join Us

The alumni of the Oldest University of the New World and graduates of the San Fernando Medical School are invited to join the association and support its goals: to improve the Medical Education at San Fernando y to improve the medical care of the needy in Peru. The effort undertaken by a San Fernando Medical School Alumnus should trigger similar efforts in all fields of Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics and Obstetrics-Gynecology as well as Research Programs in Peru, carried out by Alumni who trained and practiced in the USA.
