The soul hunters will come for and imprison the souls of your best commanders, soldiers, thinkers and makers, if you do not stop them in the process, it could weaken the military in future generations. and slow you technological advamcement.  Currently no sightings of soul hunters have been reported.

This is a Soul Hunter ship their designs can be distinguished by all races from the start of the game, as they are so different from every other ship design and they have been legends ro them coming to steal souls for generations.
