Temari California

A resource for temari craftspeople

Are you at the site you seek?  This is related to the making and collecting of Japanese wrapped and surface-embroidered string balls (not Italian mathematical theory or petunias, the other sites I find in my temari searches!)

I am a northern Californian with an interest in temari.  I am entirely self-taught (and thus no expert, yet!).  I have visited the temari museum in Tokyo, where I met the president of the Temari Association, and have been in email contact with others with this interest.  I am making this web site due to a scarcity of web info on Temari in English.  I will provide links to the few other temari sites I know.

It may be awhile before this page is fully formatted.  I will try to take pictures of my work and of some better work that I own.  Please email me with any info I should include.  If I get feedback from others with this interest,  I will try to set up a list of  their locations and email addresses.  I will also try to add additional links; let me know of any I'm missing.
