German Wirehaired Pointer Pups! If you are looking for an outstanding German Wirehaired Pointer/Drathaar Pup we have a litter born June 22, 2004 . 3 females and 4 males. The sire Mouse, is a grandson of our Field Champion and National Futurity Winner FC Rawhides Hay Windy x Dual and National Champion Cascade's Rogue MH. Rogue was also a Master Hunter and NAVHDA Utility Dog. The dam Casey Bit of Brillow was sired by Field Champion RLBS JACKSONMAN who is a grand son of FC Rawhides Hay Windy x a grand son of Dual Champion and Amateur Field Champion Soo Line's Allied Freightliner. We are taking reservations now. German Shorthaired Pointers! We have a repeat breeding litter due August 12 and are taking reservations now. The Sire is Rawhides Wrenegrade "Bob" a son of 3 time National Champion Rawhides Clown. Bob needs only 4 points to finish his Field Championship. The dam is a Rawhides Clown grand daughter and sired by a grandson of Dual Champion Stradivarius Baroque. Past litters of the pair have strong natural abilities to point back and retrieve and have great desire. All puppies are AKC registered and are eligible for American Field registration.

We have been raising German Shorthairs and German Wirehairs since 1973. We use them mainly for hunting. Our dogs also compete well in field trials, hunting tests, shoot-to-retrieve trials, obedience, and dog conformation shows. We have owned six Field Champions, two best of show winners, an AKC Master Hunter and two AKC Senior Hunters, and a National Futurity Winner , FC Rawhides Hay Windy. One of the dogs we bred, trained and own was a runner-up in the 1988 German Shorthaired Pointer National Field Futurity. A pup from one of our bitches recently won a National shoot-to-retrieve Endurance Championship and was pictured on the cover of the American Field and NSTRA Magazines. In 1992, dogs from our breeding and kennels placed 1st, 2nd and 4th in the National Futurity.

Field Trials and Hunting Tests are a means to test the performance of hunting dogs. In order to be competitive, they need alot of stamina in order to hunt all day. They also need to be able to find birds and point them, and they have to have a high degree of intelligence and trainability. So, field trials and hunting tests give a basis of comparing dogs to a standard. Without this, you can only rely on someone's word that the dogs come from good hunting stock.

A dog could be shipped to you at your nearest commercial airport, or you could come and watch them work and take one home with you. Shipping usually runs around $65 for puppies and around $150 for adult dogs, plus a kennel deposit of $55 which will be refunded less $5.00 rental fee upon return of the kennel by UPS.

All of our dogs are guaranteed to be sound and healthy. They are also guaranteed to be free of hip dysplasia and any other genetic defects and would be replaced if this should occur during the dogs lifetime. If you are not satisfied, you can return the dog for a full refund of the purchase price after a three week trial period, or we would replace the dog with one of equal value. They are AKC registered and are eligible for registration with the American Field.
