Hyach Declare war

"As of 7-7-99 The Hyach Declared War on the Cthulin because my ally, the Onteen, have asked them to leave their sector and leave the colonies to them the Cthulin have ignored them. I recently asked them to leave or we will use force. They replied harshly. Also the Dilgar have said they will help the Cthulin. I know I have also violated sector 19 with a colony but I have made agreements with Na'Shal after their attack that I can stay. So I changed the colony to an Arco. colony. We will not attack NE 369 (the Cthulin colony) if they surrender and move all ships and civilians from there. If they leave the colony to Onteen I personally will pay 100,000 to the Cthulin. If this will not work War will continue." -Strike

ISN believes this may be very premature and imature action by the Hyach Emporer, with the Shadow war not far away he is picking fights with much bigger races than his own. This topic is covered more in our feature on sector 29 situation.
