Tangram 4.2 is now available to download. Windows version is compatible with Windows 98/95/ME/2000/XP. Mac version is compatible with newer system software and newer Macs including OSX and OS9. Please check out the FAQ for update information.

Tangram is an ancient Oriental puzzle which has 7
pieces: 5 triangles in different sizes, 1 square and 1 parallelogram.
The objective of the game is to form a given shape using all 7 pieces.
Thousands of shapes can be made by rearranging these 7 simple
pieces. You can build everything from the people to animals to
abstract objects. Your imagination is your guide. Children will love

You need VBRUN300.DLL in your Windows directory to run Tangram for Windows.
Pythagoras is another dissection puzzles using
different set of puzzle pieces. It is almost identical to Tangram. Comparing Tangram and Pythagoras puzzle
might interest you. For example, which figures can be build using
both Tangram and Pythagoras set?
This program is no longer supported because Tangram 4.1 includes Pythagoras puzzles.
5Stix is a board game which uses 55 cards and 5
sticks. You can play against the computer, friends or by yourself. This
is another great game for children to develop their matching skill. It
is also enjoyable for adults.
Polytris is a game with falling polyomino blocks. The
blocks drop from the top and stop when they hit other blocks or the
bottom. The rows will be removed when they are filled without
holes. Polytris is challenging because it has 29 kinds of blocks,
bombs, water balloons and more.

Poly-RC's blocks are rows and columns with 1 to 4
squares. Stay in game by removing the squares before they stack up
to the top. The squares can be removed by arranging them in
sequences of 3 or more of the same color horizontally, vertically or
diagonally. Poly-RC features bombs, weights and radiation.

Poly-Kin is yet another game with falling blocks.
The squares can be removed if 4 or more of same color squares are
connected. They may not be in a line unlike Poly-RC or Polybrid. The
squares will not stick together and all the squares will fall to the
bottom or to the other squares.

PolyMine is another mine detection game on
randomly oriented grids. The object is to find all the safe places
without stepping on a bomb. It features 'Auto Click', 'Random Grid',
'Holes' and more. You can adjust the difficulty of the game by
selecting the number of mines, holes, and size and shape of the grid.

Poly-Tile is a board game with color pieces on
hexagonal or square board. Try to remove all the pieces but one in
fewer moves. A move is a piece jumping over another piece and
landing on another piece or a blank space. A move must satisfy the
jumping and landing conditions. It is easy to learn but hard to
master.

Poly-Peg is a classic board game also known as Peg
Solitare on various (hexagonal or square) boards. The object is to
remove all the pieces except one. Pieces can be removed by jumping
pieces over other pieces and landing on a blank space.

Poly-Dol is another board game. The object is to
match the pieces on the board to the given arrangement by sliding
rows and columns or rotating pieces. All the pieces on a line will be
moved together. Poly-Dol somehow resembles the cube which was a
hit in late '70s. If you try to match a piece, the other pieces will be
ruined because the pieces are moving dependently.

Poly-Link is another solitare board game. The
objective is to place all the pieces on the board. Each piece has a color
and a pattern. The pieces should match with the neighbor pieces in
color or pattern.

Poly-Atom is an addictive board game. The
objective is to form certain number of molecules using different
kinds of atoms in a given peroid of time. You can select the number
of patterns, holes and the shape of the board.

Poly-Drax is a new arcade type game with falling
pills. The objective is to stay in game by removing the dropped pills.
The pills can be removed by arranging them sequences of the same
color horizontally, vertically or diagonally.

Poly-Off is a new board game where the objective is
to turn all the pieces into grey. If you click on a piece, the color will
be changed as well as some of its neighbors. It sounds easy but there
are more than 1 million possible states for the simplest board.

You can adjust the difficulty of the Poly-Series games by setting preferences. All the Poly-Series games are available in Mac, Windows and MS-DOS format. You can download the Mac versions from info-mac and mirror sites. You can download some of Windows versions from here. Please contact the author if you want to register games not available for download. DOS games require VGA. Windows versions require Windows 3.1 or later and they look best in SVGA monitors.
